When I was first learning to fly, my instructors pounded into me the importance of staying “ahead of the airplane” –approaching things proactively instead of simply reacting to a situation. That is how I approach writing.
When I work with a client, I focus upon where they want to go rather than where they are. I create content for the business they want to achieve and not just the business they already have.
